THE SECRET TO BEING 🔥WILDLY ATTRACT-IVE🔥

 

It’s about that energy of yours.

 

The irony of how I’m dressed as I’m writing this is not lost on me: I’m rockin’ some favorite sweatpants, fuzzy socks, my go-to lounge shirt that’s almost a security blanket at this point, and there’s not a cute accessory in sight.

 

Never mind, this ain’t about all that.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING AT TODAY IS SOMETHING THAT’S ACTUALLY HARD TO SEE—AND YET WE INSTINCTIVELY SENSE IT AND KNOW WHEN IT’S PRESENT. WE’RE LOOKING AT THE PHENOMENON OF HIGH-VIBE ENERGY.

 

Does that term “high-vibe” strike you as kind of woo? Well if woo is not your flavor of choice, stick with me for a sec.

 

Because we got neuroscience in da house today, yo.

 

And neuroscience has a lot to do — some might say everything to do — with how attract-ive you are.

In today’s little jaunt, I’m going to do a quick break-it-down of a fundamental of the Moxie Methodology. (More to come with details in future posts.)

 

SO HERE’S HOW THIS GOES, IN 5 EASY STEPS:

 

  1. Whether we’re aware of it or not, we are beings made up of energy.

 

Even our thoughts are energy, it turns out. When I was in Santa Fe being trained in neuroscience-based coaching by BeAbove Leadership, my life was altered when we started getting deep into the fascinating territory of The Seven Levels of Effectiveness, which are seven energy bandwidths.

At any given time we are somewhere on that spectrum that goes from Hopelessness up through Fear, Frustration, Courage, Engagement, Innovation, and then (ta da!) Synchronicity. (I’m certainly not in Synchronicity all the time, but I definitely know I was around the time my guy and I eloped…which is consistent with all the magical coincidence that was poppin’ around us that week, as described here.)

Anyway, while we each will no doubt vacillate up and down throughout a day or during a given period of life, we all tend to have a particular bandwidth we hang out in more than others. It’s super interesting and insight-provoking to look at the characteristics of each of the Seven Levels and figure out where you are…and where someone else may be.)

 

2. When we talk about vibing up…that’s a real thing. Science even says so.

 

The excellent news is, you are not stuck in your bandwidth if you’re like to try another one. Not only is the brain this amazeballs thing that can be rewired — the technical term for this is creating new neural pathways — we are also able to shift the frequency of our bodies and beings.

If you’re wondering what it looks like to be a high-vibe person in real life as opposed to your nearest ashram, consider how there are people who seem to brighten up a room when they enter.

 

AND THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO FEEL LIKE BLACK HOLES OF HOPE OR FUN. AM I RIGHT? I MEAN, HOW ELSE ARE WE PICKING WHOM TO PLOP DOWN NEXT TO ON SOUTHWEST, THE AIRLINE OF NO ASSIGNED SEATS?!

 

Let’s be real. When you’re scanning the plane as you squeeze down the aisle, aren’t you hoping to avoid crying babies, smelly tuna sack lunches, and dreary i’ll-bring-y’all-down-in-a-New-York-minute people who find something to complain about at every turn? Thought so.

The other thing? There’s absolutely no particular way high-vibe attract-ive needs to look. I mean, have you seen the exquisite array of beings that make up the human race? Some of them are pretty damn shiny. The more a person hangs out in those higher energy bandwidths, the more you want to just go over and hug them and thank them for being here. (Side note: That having been said, a self-expressed soul will tend to pay some attention to costuming, just sayin.’)

What is easy to spot, however, is how other people flock to that high-vibe person.

And it goes way beyond sexual or romantic attraction, though that certainly can be in the mix sometimes. What you notice when you’re up in the higher energy levels is that folks want to talk to you. They make eye contact and smile. There’s a warmth present, and appreciation of who you are, and curiosity about what else is there.

 

GUESS WHAT COMES WITH ALL THAT? UNPREDICTABLE OPPORTUNITIES. CHANCE MEETINGS BETWEEN NEW BEST FRIENDS. ROMANTIC FRISSON. A FEELING OF ONENESS WITH STRANGERS.

 

And that yummy sense of all is right with me and the world.

 

3. How to up the energy ante? Feeling good is one awesome access.

 

And we’re talking feeling good way beyond you managing to wear shoes today that don’t make your feet hurt.

This is about listening for what your Soul wants. And trust me, we don’t do that nearly often enough. Most of us are a bit out of practice with that one.

You want some immediate hacks on that? Try asking yourself one of these questions at any given moment, in pretty much any circumstance:

 

  • What would feel good… right now?

  • How could I have this be fun?

  • What does my Soul want?

 

Very simple questions…yet if you start practicing asking yourself to inquire in this way, and then heed the answer, life starts getting pretty luscious!

4. #RadicalSelfReverence is da bomb diggity.

 

WHEN YOU START GETTING INTERESTED IN WHAT’S POSSIBLE OUT OF THE EXISTENTIALLY DELICIOUS FORMS OF FEELING GOOD, YOU’LL WANT TO BECOME A MASTER OF RADICAL SELF-REVERENCE.

 

We’ll get into that more in later posts as well, but for now I’ll say that this goes WAY beyond bubble baths and mani-pedis. (And we love our bubblebaths and mani-pedis.)

Incidentally, this isn’t just for women. #RadicalSelfReverence is important for us all.

And finally…

 

5. Probably the most overlooked aspect of #RadicalSelfReverence is making sure you get your minimum daily requirement of beauty.

 

Lucky for you, Moxie has already started poking around in that extremely fun topic! Here, for instance, is a post that gets INTO it big time. Being exposed to beauty on a regular basis isn’t a frivolous thing, or even simply a nice-to-have— research shows it’s vital to our sense of wellbeing.

Which means even your inner taskmaster can be satisfied and chill when you start to incorporate this into your life on the regular.
